This is not the first time their distributor in Sri Lanka has a made a large order for Discover bikes. Earlier this year, the same dealer had ordered 50,000 units of the Discover 125 from Bajaj Auto, Pune.
Sri Lanka is one of the largest export markets for Bajaj Auto, while the company also has a strong export base to markets such as Latin America, Nigeria and Egypt. Of the first order, Bajaj Auto has already supplied 48,000 units of the Discover 125M motorcycles to Sri Lanka. Speaking about the new order, Bajaj is expected to deliver the entire 1.25 lakh units over the next three to four months.
In India, Bajaj Discover 125M has seen increasing demand. Bajaj Discover 125M is priced between INR 56,981 to INR 59,075 and comes in with a new styling seen in its sculpted tank and panels. It sports a three line LED tail lamp while its power to weight ratio is the best as compared to most other bikes in its segment.

Bajaj Discover 125M receives a DTS-i, 4-stroke, natural air cooled engine capable of 11 PS power at 8,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm torque at 5,500 rpm. Displacement stands at 124.6cc while top speed is at 100 kmph. With excellent ride and handling facilities the 125M offers 65.04 kmpl on highways, going down to 60.11 in city limits.
