Bajaj Discover 125 ST motorcycle launched

Bajaj Auto has launched the new Discover 125 ST motorcycle in India. This new bike with DTS-iTwin Spark technology is super comfortable with effortless power as it is designed with four valves that offer 13 PS power making it the highest in 125cc category while also being high on fuel efficiency. It will also possess a five speed gearbox, monoshock nitrox suspension and a specially designed anti vibration framework that permits taming of some of the most inhospitable terrains.

Bajaj Auto Discover 125cc will be available at dealer showrooms across Maharashtra from June onwards while across other states by August. Besides the Discover 125 ST, Bajaj Auto is also keen to develop their Pulsar and Discover brands so as to bring out new bikes every year both for local and export markets.

The company is already at No. 3 position in global two wheeler markets coming after Honda and Hero MotoCorp and it is their endeavor to become the world’s No.1 motorcycle makers. In the past three years company sales went up two fold and it is possible that sales will cross the 50 lakh mark this year. Revenues too have seen a steep jump. These figures have grown three fold to Rs.20,000 crores in 2011-12 while profits have increased upto 6 times in the past three years. Operating profits stand at 20% which is the highest in the auto sector.

Price of the new Discover 125 ST has not been revealed but estimates put this figure to be around Rs.47,000.
