Bajaj Discover 100M Nepal launch in June

Bajaj Auto, through HH Bajaj, the company’s authorized distributors in Nepal, will be launching Discover 100M and Discover 125M by the end of June 2014. With launch of these new and innovative products, the company will be reaching out to mileage conscious customers in the region, who value fuel efficiency at top of their list of must haves when purchasing a new bike.

Bajaj Discover 100M Nepal launch in JuneWith added emphasis on mileage, Bajaj states that the ‘M’ in both Discover 100M and Discover 125M, two additions to the Discover lineup, stands for ‘mileage’ and hence promises best mileage in its segment, which the company pegs at 80 kmpl.

Bajaj Discover 100M receives a 4 valve, DTS-I engine. This engine is capable of long stroke features which in turn results in more enhanced pulling power thereby contributing to reduced need of constant gear shifting. The engine offers peak power of 9.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 0.95 kgm at 6,000 rpm. Bajaj Discover 100M receives semi dual cradle steel frame, telescopic fork suspension in front and drum brakes at the rear. It sits on a wheelbase of 1255 mm.

Bajaj Discover 125M Nepal launch in JuneTo be offered with both electric and kick start, Bajaj Discover 125M is powered by a 4 stroke, 124cc single cylinder, air cooled, DTS-I engine offering peak power of 11.3 bhp at 8,000 rpm and peak torque of 1.10 kgm at 6,000 rpm. This model also receives telescopic fork suspension in front but rectangular section swing arm at the rear, though it also sits on a wheelbase measuring 1255 mm. Both models will be presented in Nepal in attractive colors of blue, red, magenta, green and silver along with blue and gold.

To be manufactured at Bajaj Auto’s plant near Pune, both these Bajaj Discover variants are already on offer in India. Starting price of Discover 100M is at Rs. 46,023, and that of 125M is at Rs 48,500. For more details, read our detailed comparison of all Discover variants.
