With launch announced for later this year, the new Platina 125 Comfortec will get disc brake in the front and a more powerful 125cc engine. It will be positioned above the entry level Platina which Bajaj Auto currently sells in the 100 cc segment.

Bajaj Platina 125 Comfortec is expected to be priced at Rs 52,000, which is about Rs 5,000 higher than the entry level variant. This higher price tag is due to the new front disc brake and more powerful engine.

The model on test sports a 125cc decal on its tail section, yellow finish on rear shock absorbers and LED daytime running lights positioned above the headlamp. Apart from these changes, the overall design of the 125cc Comfortec is the same as that seen on its 100 cc counterpart.
