Thew new Bajaj Pulsar’s have started to arrive at dealerships. As promised by the company that they will update the entire Pulsar line-up by the end of 2016, this is part of that plan. We have already seen the new Pulsar 150, new Pulsar 180 and the new Pulsar 220F. Now, here is the first time the new Pulsar 135 LS is being seen.
Available in a new colour scheme, the Pulsar 135 facelift gets revised headlight cluster, new tank cowls, new decals, black matte finish on the handle bar, engine and exhaust. It also gets a revised taillight and a new single seat setup that replaces the old split seat setup.
The 134.66 cc air-cooled carbureted engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission to produce 13.56 PS at 9,000 rpm and 11.4 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The compact naked Pulsar is suspended by a telescopic front fork and 5-step adjustable twin Nitrox charged coil spring shocks.
Braking is courtesy of a 240 mm front disc and 130 mm rear drum. The Pulsar 135 LS’ 17-inch alloy wheels come shod with 2.75 – 17 front and 100/90 – 17 rear tyres (tubeless). Thanks to a light kerb weight of 121 kg (LS in the name stands for Light Sports), the motorcycle has a power-to-weight ratio that can match the 150 cc segment standards.
The Bajaj Pulsar 135 LS is priced at INR 58,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
