Just as test mules of Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS are getting caught repetitively, new sighting of a possible Pulsar 150 AS is making things more obvious than interesting. It seemed the story of long list of variants was over with the Discover, which was once offered in 7 closely resembling versions, but Bajaj Auto is fixed on getting its market share up and apparently by any means necessary to turn up volume.
Based on evidences starting with lack of disc brake at the rear, front disc seeming smaller, lack of liquid cooling solution (radiator), presence of centre stand and use of skinnier tyres, the bike in spy shots can be ascertained that it is not Pulsar 200 AS, but probably a Bajaj Pulsar 150 AS or 180 AS (less likely). According to the source, the test mule also had a projector lamp setup similar to 200 AS, connected to the new semi-fairing that belongs to Adventure Sports theme.
Given Bajaj is updating the entire range of Pulsar with new generation design, it could only be a matter of time before the existing ones run out of demand. But will that stop Bajaj from continuing to offer them?
