Reader takes a selfie with Bajaj Pulsar 150 AS test mule, seems obsessed with its headlamps

Not long after finer details of probably the next in line Bajaj Pulsar 150 AS were revealed, same / similar prototype has been spotted again.

New spy shots of one of the next gen Pulsar 150 variants (in blue colour) have emerged, and the spy seems fixated on the new model’s headlamps than the rest, not to mention the selfie.
The closest look on the headlamp assembly of Bajaj Pulsar 150 AS yet, shows the mean looking pilot lamps, wide aspect-ratio low-beam and projector high-beam head light. This seems to be the same unit used in Bajaj Pulsar 200 AS, along with the front semi-fairing and large visor good for touring.

Just like the yet to launch Pulsar 200 AS, the 150 AS takes fundamental styling elements from Pulsar 200 NS’ bin. Essentially, 150 AS will be a cocktail of Pulsar 200 NS and AS, served with far less punch.

Speaking of which, the engine is expected to be slightly up-tuned, to produce over 16 PS max power and around 13 Nm peak torque, but will not equip a fuel injection system. Transmission will be taken care of by a 5-speed gearbox. Other significant specs in Bajaj Pulsar 150 AS are the perimeter frame and monoshock at the rear.
