The Indian motorcycle maker’s favourite debut ground Turkey has just been blessed with unveil of Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS. The fourth largest motorcycle manufacturer in India also unveiled the Pulsar 200 SS there, to gauge dealers’ response. So long the smaller Naked Sports variant was expected to feature a new 160 cc engine, but the banner behind the bike reads Pulsar 150, hinting that the engine may be retained. However, the crank case and gearbox housing is casted to different shape, similar to 200 NS.
What’s interesting is that the bike is named just Pulsar 150 there without any initialism as suffix, despite adopting design of head lamp assembly, body panels, fuel tank, alloy wheels and the like of Pulsar 200 NS. What it does not carry over from Pulsar 200 NS are rear disc brake, single-piece rear mudguard and box-type swing-arm for starters.
Adding to the speculation, Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS would launch in India in April 2015.
