Bajaj Pulsar 200SS will be produced from the company plant in Pune, India and will be based on the Pulsar 200NS with design borrowed from the Pulsar SS400 concept, which was seen earlier last year at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.
Bajaj Pulsar 200SS will receive the same 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine seen on board Pulsar 200NS offering 23 bhp peak power at 9,500 rpm and 18 Nm peak torque at 8,000 rpm. The fully faired bike will sport a plastic splatter guard and new fuel tank design along with twin projector head lamps, clip on handle bar and a split seat design.
New Bajaj Pulsar 200SS has already been unveiled in Turkey and some other countries. In India, it is yet to be unveiled officially, but expect that to happen soon. Once launched, Pulsar 200SS will compete with the likes of KTM RC200 and Yamaha R15. It is expected to be price just above INR 1 lakh and promises some high action as the video below shows the motorcycle performing wheelies and stoppies.
