The production version of the CS400 will be the most powerful and fastest Pulsar ever when it goes on sales. It will also be the most expensive Bajaj motorcycle in the history.

To recap, the flagship Bajaj was previewed by a concept at 2012 Auto Expo. Over the course of development, the tourer’s USD front fork became a regular telescopic unit, a contoured single piece seat became split units and the exhaust canister received minor tweaks.

The powertrain is most likely to be derived from KTM’s 390 family but Bajaj’s patented triple-spark technology will be on board. A 6-speed transmission will be harnessing the outputs. We expect the Pulsar CS400 to dish out around 40 PS and 35 Nm of torque.
