The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is gradually expanding its international presence as the company is ramping up exports. The next destination for the fully faired flagship motorcycle is Russia, Bajaj’s new market. The Pune-based automaker ventured into the nation in September this year with the Pulsar 200 NS.
The Pulsar RS 200 will be sold in Russia by Bajaj’s authorized distributor East West Motors who has a nationwide network. The motorcycle will compete with the Chinese and Japanese counterparts. The motorcycle has been teased on the official website and is expected to be launched towards the end of this year or early next year.
The fastest Bajaj motorcycle till date is powered by a fuel injected version of the Pulsar NS 200’s 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid cooled engine. Power and torque output stands at 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque. Transmission is a 6-speed unit.
The Russia-spec model will receive dual-channel ABS as standard fitment (India-spec bike is offered with an optional single-channel ABS). Other feature highlights include dual projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, two-piece taillight, tubeless tyres, split seats and digi analog instrument console.
The Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 has been witnessing good demand in international markets and Russia is expected to further augment its sales volume.
