Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 is all set to be launched in Turkey on September 15, reports local media. The flagship Bajaj motorcycle is said to have a price tag 10,990 Turkish Lira (around INR 2.50 lakhs).
The fully faired compact sportsbike will be positioned above 200 NS and will be sold in the country by Bajaj’s official distributor Kuralkan Holding. Pulsar 200 NS quickly rose to become the best selling motorcycle in its category in Turkey with a market share of 30%. The more premium Pulsar RS 200 is expected to build on that reputation and have a stronger sales performance in the country.
The export-spec model will be equipped with ABS as a standard fitment. Other feature highlights include twin projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, two piece taillight, semi-digital instrument console, tubeless tyres and fuel injection.
The 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine produces 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque when mated to a 6-speed transmission. This makes Pulsar RS 200 one of the fastest compact sportsbikes to go on sale in Turkey.
