Keeping with industry practices, Bajaj Auto has now announced a price revision of it’s bike range. There’s been a price revision for almost all of the Bajaj Pulsar range, barring the recently launch Neon 125.
The steepest hike has been levied on Pulsar 150 Classic, and 150 Neon. Both bikes now cost Rs 75,200 from an earlier listing of Rs 71,200. Steeper by 4k, that works out to a little more than 5 percent.
Price revision across the rest of Pulsar range varies from just under a grand to 1,299 bucks. Pulsar 150 with single or double disc entail the same price hike of 998/999 bucks. However, base price stood at Rs 84,960 and Rs 88,838. A difference of almost 4k owing to the disc variation.
Pulsar NS 160 and 180F command a similar price revision at 1,101 / 1,100 bucks. Newly revised price is listed as Rs 94,195, and Rs 96,390. All prices are ex-sh, Delhi.
Pulsar 220F and NS200 price hike is fixed at 1,299. The new price list stands at Rs 1,08,355, and Rs 1,14,355. Both bikes are the only Pulsar bikes that cross the 1 lakh price tag for the manufacturer. All other Pulsar offerings are priced conveniently below the 1 lakh bracket.
Bajaj’s entry level 125 Neon is available at a price of Rs 64,000. The range is capped at 1.45 lakhs for RS200. With Pulsar, Bajaj has planned a range that offers something for everyone, and there’s more to come. The price hike across the Bajaj Pulsar range, more or less amounts to a little over a percent for the majority of the price revision.
Bajaj has plans to expand the Pulsar range to even more motorcycles. Next launch planned in the Pulsar series is that of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat Classic variant. Then there are also plans of launching Pulsar 250 adventure motorcycle, which will be based on the KTM Duke 250 adventure.
Bajaj will once again increase prices of their motorcycles when they are updated to BS6 engine standard. Yes, Bajaj has confirmed that all their motorcycles, including the entire Pulsar range – will be udpated to meet the advanced BS6 emission norms which will be implemented in India from 1st April 2020.
