First launched in March 2015, the flagship Pulsar has been launched with two new colour options and an updated engine which is now compatible with BSIV emission norms. The two new colour options in which the 2017 Pulsar RS200 will be on offer are Graphite Black and Racing Blue. The old colours have been discontinued.

The new Pulsar RS200 2017 variants come with silver / blue accents on the front fender near the fork, lower part of the fairing panels, and tailpiece. One gets black alloy in the front, while the other gets blue alloy in the front.

Engine & Price

The motorcycle in its stock condition is powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled triple-spark engine which produces 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The BSIV Pulsar RS200 is available in both ABS & Non-ABS variants in 2 colors: Racing Blue and Graphite Black. Price for BSIV Pulsar RS200 starts at Rs. 121,881 (Non ABS) & Rs. 133,883 (ABS Variant) (Ex-showroom-Delhi).

The edgy design has proved to be a very versatile canvas for modifiers all around the world to come up with their custom color themes. A few dealerships in India are ready to give the Pulsar RS200 a unique appeal to customers who are willing to pay. Since the cost for a new color/sticker theme is generally reasonable, we are seeing numerous cosmetically enhanced Pulsars RS200’s.
