Based on the Pulsar 200 NS, the biggest difference between the two is that the SS 200 comes with a full front fairing. Apart from this, you can also expect the 200 SS to be a little more refined and fine tuned, especially where handling is concerned. Engine, tyres, suspensions, etc remain the same as that of the existing Pulsar 200 NS.
Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS will feature a 4 stroke SOHC liquid cooled single cylinder 199.5 cc engine that will generate max power of 23.52 PS and 18.3 Nm torque. The front will have telescopic suspension, whereas rear will have monoshock. Fuel tank will be at 12 liters, whereas tyre size remains at 100/80 for front and 130/70 for rear. Bot tubeless with 17R alloys.
Though the design of 200 SS reminds of the 400 SS, which was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo, it is still refreshing and new. Bajaj has gives nte Pulsar 200 SS twin projector headlamps and LED taillamps, thus making it one of the most advanced and stylish motorcycle in the 200 cc segment.
There is no official word from Bajaj on the launch of Pulsar 200 SS, yet. But considering that the bike has now arrived at a dealership, the launch cannot be very far. Once launched, the Pulsar 200 SS will is expected to cost about Rs 10-15,000 more than the Pulsar 200 NS, which is currently sold at Rs 90,000.
