The Benelli Tornado 302 is essentially a fully faired version of the TNT 300. Held together by a steel trellis frame, the KTM RC390 rival features an ultra sporty fairing with sophisticated twin headlamps. A muscular fuel tank and a long tailpiece with split seats renders the compact displacement sportsbike a litre-class appeal.
Power comes from the TNT 300’s 300 cc parallel-twin liquid cooled engine but its outputs are jacked up to 35 PS at 12,000 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Transmission is a 6-speed unit. Suspension and braking system come from the naked sibling.
The Benelli Tornado 302 will be launched in India in the coming months. The bike will be assembled at DSK Motowheels’ CKD assembly plant near Pune.
