Bentley Mulsanne First Edition sports Fulbeck Veneer from a 350 year old English walnut tree.

Bentley Mulsanne First Edition makes global debut at the ongoing 2016 Beijing Motor Show. Based on the updated Mulsanne which was first showcased earlier this year at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the First Edition is offered with all three variants of Mulsanne – Regular, Speed and EWB.

Exclusive to the Bentley Mulsanne First Edition EWB is a Fulbeck veneer. This ripple patterned Fulbeck veneer, which has been procured from a 350-year-old English walnut tree. This veneer Bentley purchased at an auction for an undisclosed price.

Other First Edition examples receive Antique Ash veneer. Limited to just 50 units, the Bentley Mulsanne First Edition will be seen with a host of interior updates that include exclusive Mulliner sterling silver vanity kit set on a rear picnic table.

A specially created Asprey of London set of vanity mirror, hair brush and comb, Union Jack inspired embroidery on seating, Flying B hood ornaments and a champagne cooler are also evident.

Bentley Mulsanne First Edition is powered by a 6.65 liter twin turbo V8 engine mated to a ZF eight speed automatic transmission.

On Mulsanne and EWB, the engine will offer 505 hp power and 1,020 Nm torque while the same engine on Mulsanne Speed will be capable of 530 hp power and 1100 Nm torque mated to an 8-speed gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 4.9 seconds while top speed stands at 305 kmph.

While there are no indications on price, a slight increase as compared to the outgoing model’s £229,360 starting price can be expected.
