BharatBenz trucks reports 72 pct sales growth for January-February 2015 over the first two months of 2014. For 2014, Bharatbenz reported 59 oct sales growth. Erich Nesselhauf, Managing Director and CEO, Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) says the 20,000 BharatBenz trucks sales milestone reflects the brand’s ability to stay on track despite difficult market conditions in the Indian Truck industry. DICV trucks are well perceived by Indian customers and subsequent orders are testimony to customer confidence.
Sreeram V, Vice President Domestic Sales, Product Management and Network, DICV says BharatBenz is gaining momentum in the Indian market. 20,000 trucks is an important milestone. BharatBenz trucks offer the lowest Total cost of ownership for the Indian customer, better fuel advantage, efficiency and performance, and are already in the top three in the Heavy Duty segment.
At present, DICV operates 81 dealerships here to cover 85 pct of the Indian market. BharatBenz dealerships have a 24×7 enabled workshop manned by qualified Daimler trained engineers/technicians. These include Cashless Zero-depreciation Insurance, Full Maintenance Contracts, Extended Warranty, 24×7 Roadside Assistance, Vehicle tracking systems, Driver Training and Express and On-site Service.
