BMW 1 Series meets Sachin Tendulkar’s driving requirements

With Mercedes Benz recently introducing its new A Class can the BMW 1 Series be far behind? The company has announced that they will soon be launching 1 Series and online promotions of the same have commenced. The compact, luxury segment is increasing by leaps and bounds with the Mercedes Benz A Class making its way into Indian auto market.

All new BMW 1 SeriesSoon after Volvo V40 Cross Country was launched. With the new BMW 1 Series and Audi A3 compact saloon to be launched soon, manufacturers are competing on the price factor to keep buyers alert.

BMW has commenced promotion of the 1 Series through DYNAMIC1, and a number of other innovative marketing initiatives to make enthusaists aware. The competition includes prizes of sponsored trips to Germany where they will get to drive the 1 Series along with Sachin Tendulkar and Armaan Ebrahim, India’s FIA GR driver.

Mercedes-Benz A-Class has entered India as a CBU and is enroute to being a CKD. BMW 1 Series will be brought to India in a CKD format and will be assembled at the company plant in Chennai, which will give it a price advantage, nad will certainly be the most affordable car fro the company here. The video release shows BMW’s signature kidney grille, and a sporty exterior.
