BMW announces lineup for 2012 LA Auto Show

BMW has confirmed that BMW i8 concept will be on display at LA International Auto Show scheduled from November 30th to December 9th 2012. BMW Concept i8 Roadster will be a high performance vehicle with total output of 354 hp and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds. With lightweight design and hybrid technologies, the i8 Roadster will offer 78 mpg in the US.

BMW will also be displaying their Concept K2 Powder Ride which will make its way into company showrooms immediately with prices starting from $44,390. Presented in unique exterior paint options and enhanced interior comforts, the K2 Powder Ride will have 19” alloy wheels in Ferric Gray, with matching Ferric Gray trims on front and rear sills and side skirts while windows are dark tinted with matt black surrounds. Harman Kardon sound system and two way loudspeakers generate output of 320 watts.

2013 BMW ActiveHybrid 3 and ActiveHybrid 5 will be priced at $50,195 and $61,995 respectively which also includes destination and handling charges. Its full hybrid design allows for a high level of fuel efficiency. Offered in a range of interior colors, upholstery and trims, the BMW 3 Series and 5 Series also comes with a 2 zone climate control system with stationary air conditioning besides a wide range of driver assistance systems and ConnectedDrive mobility services.

Besides these models, customers will be treated to a host of other new launches at the BMW pavilion which will include the 2013 BMW 7 series, 2013 BMW Individual X6 Performance Edition, 2013 BMW M5 Sedan, 2013 BMW M6 Coupe, 2013 BMW 650i Gran Coupe and BMW X5 xDrive 35d. Further details will be revealed at the BMW press conference at the BMW stands on November 28th at 3.10 pm.
