BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition launched in India at Rs 41.40 lakhs

BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition in both petrol and diesel engine options is priced at INR 41.40 lakhs for the 320d Sport and INR 47.30 lakhs for the 330i M Sport. These limited edition models are seen in sporty exteriors and well designed interiors. Launched in India now, the company has not yet revealed how many units of this limited edition will be produced.

The 3 Series Shadow Edition which will be locally produced at the BMW India Chennai plant receives a high gloss black kidney grille, smoked effect on head and tail lamps and new 18” alloy wheels.

Exhaust tips are finished in chrome. Exterior color options include Alpine White in non-metallic while metallic colors include Black Sapphire, Sunset Orange. Exclusive to the Sport Shadow edition is Mediterranean Blue while the M Sport Shadow gets Estoril Blue. Interiors are seen in a wide range of color scheme options in Sensatec Black/Red highlight, Black and Sensatec Veneto Beige and Veneto Beige. There are also exclusive colors to the Shadow edition and M Sport Shadow.

Interiors are also seen with a 10.5” all digital instrument cluster, M Sport steering wheel, 8.7” floating infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and other features such as heads up display, reverse parking sensor and camera.

The BMW 3 Series Shadow Edition is abound in safety features among which are a total of 6 airbags besides Anti-Lock Braking System with brake assist, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Cornering Brake Control, Side impact Protection, ISOFIX child seat mounting, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensor.

Engine specifications include a 2.0 liter petrol engine on the BMW 330i M Sport Shadow Edition which offers 252 bhp power and 350 Nm torque and a 2.0 liter engine on the BMW 320d Edition Sport Shadow offering 190 bhp power and 400 Nm torque. Both engines get mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
