BMW has confirmed that sales of next generation 4 Series Coupe, which is on display at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, is scheduled for later next year. Displayed for the first time, the Concept 4 Series Coupe confirms that the two door 3 Series will become the 4 Series and join the 6 Series as a two door variant of BMW saloon.
Though just in concept form, the 4 Series on display here, is a final representation of the production model which is seen with less aggressive front and rear bumpers and air dams. It shares its wheelbase of 2,810 mm with that of its 3 Series saloon counterpart and will stand 4,641 mm in length, 1,826 mm in width and will be 1,326 mm tall. Interiors closely resemble the 3 Series saloon while it possesses an instrument panel containing a high mounted infotainment screen, radio and air con modules on the center console.
No specifications of engine have been revealed but sources state that the 4 Series will carry over the same engine lineup as that seen on the current 3 Series. For more information , scroll down.
