The new 2-cylinder in-line engine with two counterbalance shafts comes with a firing interval of 270/450 degrees for ride comfort, and distinct sound. With power and torque optimised, fuel efficiency too is improved. Both bikes are powered by the same engine – 853 cc 2-cylinder in-line engine. An anti-hopping, self-amplifying clutch ensures least effort from the rider. Engine drag torque reduction improves road safety. Power transmission to the rear wheel is from being mated to a 6-speed gearbox with secondary drive, positioned on the left-hand side. ‘Road’ and ‘Rain’ mode, ABS and ASC (automatic stability control) improve the joy of riding and safety.

Speaking about platform – New monocoque steel bridge frame integrates the 2-cylinder in-line engine for torsional rigidity and robustness. Fuel tank between seat bench and steering head improves centre of gravity. Suspension is optimised. On the design front, F 750 GS and F 850 GS are more dynamic and masculine, and come with exclusive style variations.
