BMW records 23 percent increase in sales for Nov 2012

BMW Group has witnessed a 23% increase in sales in the past month. The company brands such as BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce totally delivered 170,932 units during this period as against 138,954 units delivered in the same period of the previous year. Besides noteworthy sales in November 2012, the company has declared that the period January to November 2012 was their best first eleven months ever.

Sales increased 10.1% during this period during which time the company delivered 1,664,088 units as compared to 1,501,857 units delivered in the same 11 month period in 2011. BMW Group owes its progress to enhanced demand across the globe followed by success of their premium brands which they are offering as per customer’s preferences.

BMW cars saw a 26.4% increase in worldwide sales during November 2012 with total vehicles reaching the 145,452 mark as compared to 115,106 units sold in the same period of 2011. Sales of the BMW X3 were at 14,653 units in November as compared to 11,397 units in November 2011, up 28.6% while BMW X1 also saw a 37.7% increase in sales during November with 14,711 units sold during the period as against 10,714 units sold in November 2011. 25,077 units of MINI Brand vehicles were also sold during November 2012, as compared to 23,528 units sold in November 2011 resulting in an increase of 6.6%.
