BMW 3 Series, X1 service package cost under Re 1 per km

The after sales service program now starts at under Re 1 per km.

BMW India has introduced a special service program for its customers in India. Called ‘Joy Rewards’, this is an after sales program offering benefits both on service costs and parts to all owners of BMW cars in the country.

This program was first launched last month. But today, it has been updated. It now gets even better with a new cost of service initiative announced for the entire range of BMW vehicles in the country.

Called BMW Service Inclusive Package, the service costs start from as much as 97 paise per km for petrol variants going up to Rs.1.38 per km for diesel engine vehicles. The cost of service package has also been reduced by 50 percent and customers are offered with an array of service plans depending on duration and mileage of their choosing.

BMW Service Inclusive includes all maintenance work on the car such as standard checks and engine oil change, along with replacement of air filters, fuel filters, plugs and brake fluid. The package is also designed according to customer’s demands in terms of duration and mileage which extends from 3 years and 40,000 kms to 10 years and 2,00,000 kms. The packages can be changed, upgraded, extended or even transferred to the next owner in the event of the sale of the vehicle.

BMW Service Inclusive package for the BMW X1 petrol for 3 years or 40,000 kms whichever is earlier costs Rs.38,800 at 97 paise per km. This cost is higher on the BMW X1 diesel which goes up to Rs.55,400 or Rs.1.38 per km. The BMW 3 Series petrol service package costs Rs.39,600 or 99 paise per km while the BMW 3 Series diesel comes in with a package cost of Rs.56,500 or Rs.1.51 per km.

The earlier announcement of the BMW Joy Rewards is on offer on select parts and labour charges under condition based service, battery replacement, certain suspension parts, front and rear brakes and brake fluid along with spark plug, air filter, fuel filter and engine oil.

BMW claims that all after sales services are conducted by experienced service personnel thus ensuring that each customer receives the optimum service in terms of service, warranty, parts and accessories.
