2015 BMW X3 is the company’s mid sized luxury offering in the SUV segment. With this segment seeing increased demand in India, the 2015 BMW X3 facelift is now ready for launch and could, like its earlier counterpart, be assembled at the BMW India plant in Chennai.
Getting a revised design and a host of external and internal updates, the 2015 BMW X3 will be seen with larger headlamps, a more prominent front grille and some design tweaks on front and rear bumpers. Interiors will also see some modifications where upholstery and trim options are concerned.
2015 BMW X3 gets a more efficient engine in Europe, than that seen on its current counterpart. Its 2.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine will be spruced up to not only offer more power of 190 PS and 400 Nm torque, but also to be more fuel efficient. The top end variant of the X3 will be fitted with a 3.0 liter in line six cylinder diesel engine capable of 258 PS peak power and 560 Nm peak torque mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission.
