BMW X1 Concept K2 Powder Ride makes its entry at 2012 LA Auto Show


BMW X1 Concept Powder Ride is scheduled to arrive in company showrooms this month and will be available at a starting price of $44,390 inclusive of destination and handling. The colorful SUV is up on display at the BMW pavilion at the Los Angeles International Auto Show currently underway at LA Convention Centre till 9th December 2012, where it can be seen with a unique blend of external features and internal comforts.

Valencia Orange metallic paintwork is complimented by distinctive graphics which is akin to that seen on the limited edition K2 Ski. The central element in this graphic is that of a fox which continues to the front of the vehicle with a penned X from the rear to its front doors.

The K2 Powder Ride  sits on an extended wheel base over the standard X1 model, while 19” light Ferric Grey wheels with polished spokes complement the exterior. Ferric Grey trims are also seen in the front and rear sills and side skirts while dark tinted windows and matte black surrounds and roof rails add to a luxurious appeal.

Interiors are specially designed for cold weather sports enthusiasts as it is seen with all weather floor mats, a snowboard bag, equipped for roof rails housing a ski box, door sill strips and a roof mounted Harman Kardon sound system.
