BS6 Volkswagen Polo, Vento get new schemes – Lease, Buyback, Pay For Use

Volkswagen India resumes production and rolls out Omni-channel mobility schemes for its customers

ŠKODA AUTO Volkswagen India Private Limited (ŠAVWIPL) has commenced production at its Aurangabad plant while preparations are on to initiate vehicle assembly at the Pune plant under the INDIA 2.0 project. To ensure the complete protection of its employees, the company has rolled out a safety protocol with 60 safety measures to be implemented at both plants.

The Aurangabad plant will work on a single shift basis for a start. It is from this plant that the new Skoda Superb will be making its official debut in India and production of other models will also commence and progressively be ramped up as the situation of COVID-19 pandemic improves across the country.

To address its customers and to ease their financial burden during these troubled times of the coronavirus pandemic, Volkswagen has introduced several Omni-channel mobility products via the Volkswagen website www.volkswagen.co.in.

These include Volkswagen Power Lease: Powered by ORIX – under which a ‘Pay for Usage’ model is being offered across all of the company’s BS6 models. It will include a range of tenure options offered at lower rental charges and zero down payment. Under this scheme, customers can also opt for upgrades and no recurring costs.

Volkswagen’s Power Lease, Peace of Mind covers risk and lower monthly cash outflows along with a zero down payment. It offers mobility minus the stress of recurring insurance renewals, flexible maintenance costs for a period of 2, 3 or 4 years, lower rental charges, zero down payment and can avail of road tax benefits.

Volkswagen customers can also select the Power Lease, 2 Months Lease Rental Holiday offer wherein the automaker offers a 2 month lease rental holiday for cars leased under this program till 31st July 2020. Volkswagen Secure and Assured Buy Back offers a guaranteed future value with lower monthly EMIs, flexible down payment and options to retain, upgrade and even sell back the vehicle at the end of the term.

Volkswagen Secure is a first in segment offering with assured buy back and residual value option for the Volkswagen Vento sedan or the Tiguan Allspace which will be supported by Volkswagen Finance. The customer will benefit from flexible down payments, lower EMIs and insurance cover for 3 or 4 years.

Under this Secure scheme, customers can also avail residual value with assured buy back option wherein they can either retain the vehicle or upgrade to another model with re-finance schemes available via Volkswagen Financial Services.
