Two prototypes of upcoming Bugatti Veryron successor, which is reportedly called Chiron, was recently caught on video by Auto Bild TV, while they were trying to pass through a narrow road.
From the time spy shots of Bugatti Chiron first started emerging online, they have been caught in a pair. Even this time, they were in a pair.
As you can see in the video below, while performing test runs in the mountains, the two are stuck at a certain narrow pass. A team member with walkie-talkie guides both drivers to manoeuvre the prototypes out of the jam without any damage.
Bugatti Chiron is a hypercar which will be powered by a gas engine and electric motor. The petrol engine is the same 8.0 liter W16 quad turbo engine which was seen on board the Veyron Super Sport, generating 1200 PS power and 1500 Nm torque. In addition to this, Chiron also gets an electric motor, which will take the total output to 1500 PS.
This combination of engines, will allow the Chiron to be the fastest production car ever to be built. Estimates place Chiron’s top speed at 460 kmph.
Design of Chiron is inspired by the recently unveiled Bugatti Vision GT. As you can seen in the spy video, the head lights, front grille, front bumper, as well as the side and rear design, easily connect with the Vision GT’s desgin.
