Unveiled as a show car, the virtual race car is in celebration of Bugatti’s racing history and is developed along with Polyphony Digital Inc., creator of the Gran Turismo video game franchise.
The car is a tribute to its racing tradition of the 1920s and 1930s and various triumphs seen at the Le Mans 24 Hours races and is transformed into a reality specially for the 66th International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt.
There were two criterions for the making of this concept that the virtual car should look exactly like a Bugatti while each part of the vehicle had to be fully functional. It is with this in mind that the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is built based on cutting edge racing technology and state of the art aerodynamics.
