Come April, and vehicle owners in India will enjoy world class service from Carnation Auto. This multi-brand car sales and service network is all set to start their 1st venture in India in collaboration with Magneti Marelli, a Fiat group company this April. The first hub can be expected in Gurgaon as officials are at it.
An announcement had been made last month regarding their foray into the Indian auto market to provide services to the premium segment. Alongside services, diagnostic instrumentation, and technical know-how, they also intend to acquire and distribute aftermarket parts through the partnership. It’ll be a great avenue considering luxury auto biggies like Land Rover, BMW, Volkswagen and Audi are all involved in making available SUVs and high-end sedans in India.
Carnation Auto deals in multiple brands and can handle quick services, insurance, accessories, and mechanical & body repairs. They are experienced in sale of pre-owned cars and can offer services at your doorstep through their mobile workshops. In India, they have tied up with Dilip Chhabria’s DC Design. This will help make available exclusive and customised kits and solutions. These cars will be distributed through nationwide Carnation Auto hubs.
Their initial venture is to mrket the customised Innova kit. Known as the Innov8, it boasts of features that are meant to pamper clients including rear AC vents, an LCD TV screen, and captain setas amongst others. This multi brand car dealer plans at least 25 hubs by the end of this year, and 40 by the next. At present, there are 13 operational Carnation Auto hubs.
In competition there’s also the Reliance AutoZone from Reliance Retail Ltd, and MyTVS. Such 3rd party ventures are now being recognised in terms of credibility when it comes to comparison with unlicensed dealer workshops
