CF Moto, one of the popular two wheeler manufacturers in China, now enters the Indian two wheeler segment with four new bikes 300 NK, 650 NK, 650 MT and 650 GT. All bikes are made in China, and will reach India Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits. In this post we will talk in detail about the entry level CF Moto 300 NK.
The CF Moto 300 NK is the only 300 cc bike launched today, while the other three are in the 650cc segment. The 300 NK is priced at Rs 2.29 lakh, ex-sh. It is the most affordable motorcycle from the Chinese brand. It is powered by a 292cc single cylinder, 4 stroke, liquid cooled engine offering 28 PS peak power and 25 Nm peak torque. It is mated to a 6 speed transmission.
CF Moto 300 NK sits on a steel tubular frame and stands 2,114 mm in length and gets a 1,415 mm wheelbase. Seat height is at 795mm while ground clearance is at 150mm. CFMoto also claim an impressive kerb weight of just 151kg. The 300NK gets a 12.5 liter fuel tank.
CF Moto 300NK, already on sale in international markets. It gets on board features which include LED head and tail lamps and LED turn indicators. It also receives an angular fuel tank, 5 spoke alloy wheels and a TFT LCD screen. The instrument console displays the speed, odo, tacho and trip meters along with fuel gauge and gear indicator.
The CF Moto 300 NK sits on 17” wheels at the front and rear fitted with 120/70-17 front tyre and 160/60-17 rear tyre. It comes in equipped with two riding modes, gets single disc brake at both ends and dual channel ABS. Suspension is via inverted fork in the front and adjustable monoshock at the rear.
CF Moto 300NK will compete with the KTM 390 Duke priced at Rs.2.44 lakhs, the BMW G 310R priced at Rs.2.99 lakhs and also with the Honda CB300R which carries a price tag of Rs.2.41 lakhs.
While the company has announced its foray into the Indian market, for now potential customers will need to wait to get their hands on the bike. Online bookings will get underway on Aug 5, 2019. Following this, deliveries are planned from October 1, 2019. For now, 7 dealerships are confirmed.
