It was seen at the 2014 Auto Expo as a mini SUV in the sub 4 meter category and attracted a great deal of attention from auto enthusiasts who predicted immediate launch. However, latest reports state that it will only be in 2017 that the new Adra SUV will make its way to company showrooms.

In the mean time GM India’s new strategy involves focusing on sprucing up its present model lineup which includes Chevrolet Sail U-VA, Sail, Cruze and Enjoy. This is being done in a bid to enhance brand perception and restructure its product portfolio. GM currently occupies a 2.5% market share and will be focusing on expanding its dealer network and other customer centric activities prior to launching of new products in the next four years.
