Chevrolet Silverado custom concepts unveiled at SEMA 2015

GM unveiled trio of Chevrolet Silverado custom pickup concepts for the SEMA 2015 tuning festival in Las Vegas which commenced today.

Chevrolet Silverado Kid Rock Concept

One of the three concepts unveiled was the 3500HD Kid Rock Silverado designed in collaboration with the musician Kid Rock. The 3500HD celebrates freedom and honors the workers of America. The pick up is designed to give the smoothest and most relaxing trailing experience of all time. The musician visited the production facility at Flint to meet the members of UAW Local 598, the designers of the truck and shared his designing ideas. The Kid Rock touch gave the truck a custom chrome grill logo with a born free logo and chrome exhaust stacks along with patriotic graphics. Completing the freedom truck are two Gibbs Sports Quadkis.

Chevrolet Silverado Razzle Dazzle concept

The second was the 2016 Silverado Razzle Dazzle which is inspired by American Naval Forces and Special Ops teams. “This Silverado concept is a multipurpose truck that reflects the go-anywhere, do-anything commitment of special-forces teams,” said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. The naval inspired Razzle Dazzle Camouflage catches the eye of the audience! The truck is designed to be used for special rescue operations and so Chevrolet packs bed-mounted LED lights, offroad tires, wheel flares, bed mounted Gear On Utility storage system and many more features to help the special ops team. The truck will also be showcased in the Army-Navy football game in Philadelphia on 12 December, 2015.

Chevrolet Silverado Realtree Bone Collector concept

The last to follow was the 2016 Silverado Realtree Bone Collector Concept designed by the camouflage hunting gears company Realtree and ‘The Bone Collector’ host, Michael Waddell. The truck comes with Chevrolet Accessories’ front push bar, LED light bar, 22” black wheels with offroad tyres, etc. The interior is designed to enhance the outdoor camouflage with a Bone Collector inspired instrument cluster which hosts Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather trimmed bucket seats and many more.
