Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is now listed on Amazon India website. Set to be launched in India next week, the new Trailblazer SUV will become the first Chevrolet car to be sold online.
Though the website says the car is currently unavailable, interested customers will soon be able to book the Trailblazer online. Apart from booking the car online, buyers can also head to dealerships and make the booking.
By selling the Trailblazer online, Chevrolet India follows a similar strategy set by Mahindra and Hero MotoCorp, both selling their products online on Snapdeal. Speaking about the new development, Chevrolet India says that since most buyers refer to online platform prior to making vehicle purchases. Not only it saves time, but is also more user friendly. For eg, take the case of Hero MotoCorp, who has sold 1 million vehicles in the last 10 month via SnapDeal.
Slated for launch in India at an expected price range from INR 25-30 lakhs, Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV will be brought in as a CBU. To be sold only in one variant (top end LTZ), it will be powered by a 2.8 liter diesel engine generating 200 hp power and 500 Nm torque. Transmission will be taken care by a 6 speed automatic gearbox.
Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV is the most highly priced vehicle to be offered on third party e-marketing website in India.
Measuring 4,878 mm in length, 1,902 mm in width and 1,847 mm in height, Trailblazer sits on a wheelbase will of 2,845 mm. Once launched in India, the new Trailblazer will find competition from Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavor, SsangYong Rexton and Hyundai Santa Fe.
