Compact Ford Figo Concept unveil ahead of 2014 India Auto Expo: 111 high-res images

Ford’s new Figo concept has been revealed while the car will go on display at the Auto Expo 2014 to be held from February 5-11, 2014. The new concept offers a glimpse of a new global compact technology to be disclosed for India and other emerging markets along with outstanding levels of connectivity and safety.

In a sub four meter design, Ford Figo concept, is ideally suited to meet the needs of a competitive B segment in India and comes in with innovative features, outstanding fuel efficiency, enhanced quality and the latest of infotainment technology all in one package.

Ford_Figo_Concept (39)Despite the fact that Ford Figo concept is in a sub 4 meter segment, the company has not compromised on quality or features, aesthetics or design, on board safety or technology, building on Ford’s compact car offerings in the country and paving the way to meet the rapidly changing demands in the compact segment in global markets.

Ford Figo concept is seen with a refined interior and aerodynamic exterior design. Sporting electronically adjustable folding mirrors, spacious cabin and state of the art infotainment system which offers MP3 player, mobile charging units and satellite navigation system and levels of safety which offers piece of mind to drivers. Figo will compete with Maruti DZire, Honda Amaze and the new Hyundai Grand i10 and will receive a 1.0 liter EcoBost petrol engine and 1.5 liter diesel engine.

The compact car segment made up almost a third of 2013 total sales in India and Ford Figo compact concept builds on the automakers compact offerings in India with Ford expecting higher sales in the months ahead.
