Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the most influential and richest sports person of our time, is an avid car collector. He owns over 100 cars to his name. Most of them are super-exclusive and super-expensive. The latest car he has added to that list is the Bugatti Chiron.
Ronaldo introduced his customized Chiron to his fans via his Instagram account. His update with the caption “New animal in the building Bugatti Chiron” has been viewed by more than 16 million people. Another post about his Chiron got more than 5.1 million likes.
The 32 year old footballer, considered by many as the best in business, celebrated his 400th appearance for Real Madrid recently. His newly acquired is parked safely at his home in Spain. He is seen driving the car with his son Cristiano Jr. The two are seen driving out of his garage in the new silver colored customized Chiron.
Other note-worthy cars owned by Ronaldo are Lamborghini Aventador, a Rolls Royce Phantom, Ferrari LaFerrari, an Aston Martin DB9 and a Porsche Cayenne Turbo among other luxury wheels. This latest addition, a Bugatti Chiron supercar could be the costliest of them all at $ 3 million.

This is not the first Bugatti in his collection as he already owns the Veyron which is priced at $2.28 million. The footballer was given a chance to test drive the new Bugatti Chiron last year. He was so impressed with the car that he made the booking on the same day. His fully customized Chiron was delivered to him this week. You can see “CR7” personalized headrests on the seats.
The new Bugatti Chiron is the fastest among all the models in Ronaldo’s collection. It can achieve a speed of 400 kmph in 32 seconds and has a top speed of over 450 kmph. It is powered by an 8.0 liter, quad-turbo, 16 cylinder W configuration engine producing 1500 PS peak power and 1600 Nm torque. The engine is mated to an all wheel drive system and a 7 speed clutch transmission. Though capable of 0 to 100 kmph in 2.4 seconds and a top speed of 420 kmph, without a limiter, the Chiron can accelerate to a top speed of 463 kmph.
