Dacia Israel begins operations

Israel is the 44th country where Dacia has ventured with Duster, Sandero Stepway, Lodgy and Dokker vehicles going on sale. François Mariotte, Sales & Marketing Director of Dacia, and Itzik Weitz, CEO of Carasso Motors were present at the store opening. Carasso Motors, Renault group’s long-time partner in Israel is responsible for sales and aftersales service.

Dacia goes on sale in Israel

In 2015, Dacia will open 2 sales outlets, alongwith sales corners in select Renault dealerships in Israel. Itzik Weitz, CEO of Carasso Motors says the partnership with Renault group has spanned 65 years. Renault is growing in Israel and has a 4.2% market share now. Dacia makes available a new line of cars that complement Renault’s product range.

François Mariotte, Sales & Marketing Director of Dacia says the brand’s simple, clear customer promise will help establish trust-based relationships in this new market through cars fitted with modern equipment at affordable prices. Dacia vehicles are sold with a 3 year/100,000 km warranty. Dacia sales reached the three million customer mark across Europe and the Mediterranean two months earlier.

A Sandero Stepway bought by a motorist in Spain was the 3,000,000th Dacia sold, a feat achieved in 10 years time with brand renewal in 2004. H1 2014 saw Dacia report 24.4% sales growth. Sales in Europe has been noteworthy with sales growth in the region reported at 36.2% in H1 2014.

Dacia expansion continues following successful launches in United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Cyprus and Malta in 2013. It is also thought Renault Australia could launch its budget brand Dacia in a few years time.
