Datsun GO Live Concept showcased at Indonesia – 2017 GIIAS

Datsun GO Live targets younger audience who opt for a proactive lifestyle.

Showcased at 2017 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS), the Datsun GO Live Concept is seen in a dual tone finish with grey exteriors, black roof and neon yellow bottom and roof spoiler. It is this bright color scheme and futuristic styling that instantly attracts a younger generation of buyers in the country.

The Go Live Concept sits on 17” alloy wheels and gets sharper head and tail lamps along with a larger grille. Datsun states that the new Go Live concept is designed for freestyle and fun. It targets young Indonesian buyers with its modern styling, sculpted bumpers and large rear wing.

This hatchback concept is also created with the younger buyer sentiments in mind as it comes in with customization options. Kei Kyu, Datsun Executive Design Director states that the GO Live Concept reflects the fun, expressive and liberating attitude that Indonesian car enthusiasts have toward their vehicles.

Not much about the interior design or engine specifications have been revealed as of now, but it is expected to have received thorough makeover as well. Datsun GO in Indonesia gets a 1.2 liter petrol engine offering 68 bhp power and 104 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox.

The concept is expected to make India debut at the 2018 Auto Expo early next year. Depending on crowd reaction, it will be decided whether to launch it here in India or not. Datsun India line-up includes Go, Go Plus and Redi Go.
