Offered in a 5+2 seating arrangement, Datsun Go+ has a very aggressive price tag. It not only rivals existing MPVs like Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio to an extent, but also has a huge advantage over hatchbacks which are offered in a similar price range.
As per Datsun India, over 70% of the cars sold in the country are priced below Rs 5.5 lakhs. Priced much below the Rs 5.5 lakh mark, where only hatchbacks and compact sedans have present till date, Datsun Go+ is the only seven seater in this segment. This gives Datsun India an immense edge over rivals.
Most of the car buyers in this segment are those who have never owned a car before. Targeting such buyers who also have parents and young children living together, Datsun Go+ MPV easily catches the eye, as until now for such buyers, their only option was to either buy a hatchback or a compact sedan.
That is exactly what is Datsun India focusing in their new TVC, also hinting what exactly their new Go+ has in its crosshair. You can watch the TVC below, which just like the Go hatchback, revolves around the ‘Nayi Parampara’ (new tradition) theme, featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Alok Nath.
