Datsun redi-GO urban-cross pre-launch bookings commence

 

Datsun redi-GO urban-cross opens for bookings from 1st May 2016 while the company confirms deliveries by June 2016.

Datsun redi-GO, designed, developed and produced at the Renault-Nissan Alliance plant in Oragadam, near Chennai, India made its global debut in India on April 14, 2016. Datsun has now announced the start of pre-launch bookings of their new car which is set to be launched in June 2016.

Datsun Redi-Go is open for bookings at all company dealerships across India at a down payment of INR 5,000. Launch and deliveries are slated for June 2016.

Besides placing orders at company’s 217 outlets across 165 cities in India, bookings can also be placed online through India’s foremost ecommerce platform, snapdeal.com. Apart from this, you can also download Datsun India App from Google Play store and book one in just five minutes.

Datsun redi-GO is the country’s first small urban-cross vehicle. It is positioned between Datsun GO hatchback and GO+ MPV. Aimed at attracting the attention of first-time buyers in India, redi-Go is based on the same platform of Renault Kwid – CMF-A.

To be priced in the range of INR 2.5 lakhs and 3.5 lakh, Datsun redi-GO will boast of best in class ground clearance at 185mm. It will be powered by the same 800cc petrol engine powering the Renault Kwid offering 54 PS power and 72 Nm torque. It is also expected to get a larger 1.0-liter engine while it will receive a 5-speed manual transmission along with an AMT option at a later date.
