Dawood car burnt

Bought at an auction for just INR 32,000 by Swami Chakrapani, Dawood Ibrahim’s Hyundai Accent was burnt at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad on Wednesday.

Swami Chakrapani, National President of All India Hindu Mahasabha purchased the Hyundai Accent allegedly belonging to Dawood Ibrahim at an auction in Mumbai recently. Shelling out INR 32,000 for the Hyundai Accent with the license number – MH 04 AX 3676, the car was never driven or used by Dawood Ibrahim, as it was launched much after he fled the country. The said car was allegedly in his name and used by his associates.

To send a message against terror, Chakarpani has set the car ablaze at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad. This was done to show the groups solidarity in acting against terrorists. Chakrapani states that all remains of the burnt car will be used to construct a toilet on a cremation ground in the same locality.

Speaking about the car, Chakrapani says that he earlier wanted to use the car as an ambulance, to serve the citizens. But, as per him, he was threatened D-company’s (Dawood gang’s) henchmen to not go ahead and buy the car. This got him angry and thus he decided to not only buy the car, but also burn the car in full public view. He has also filed police complaint against the henchmen who threatened him at the Mandir Marg Police in Delhi on December 11.
