DC Avanti in new Red & White livery at Mumbai’s only DC Design store

Travelers through the Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport in Mumbai will be able to view India’s first sports car the DC Avanti.

Dilip Chhabria’s DC Avanti is on display at their new exclusive store inside T-2 Terminal at Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport in Mumbai. This store is now the DC Design’s sole dealership in Mumbai.

The new store will not only showcase Chhabria’s unique and custom car models but will also display the company’s technological prowess along with unique design philosophy while upcoming models will also be on display.

Having a showroom at the Mumbai International Airport will offer DC Design abundant footfall as everyone passing through will be attracted to view these cars on display. The exclusive DC Design Avanti, indigenously designed and developed is priced at INR 35 lakhs. It is offered in three color combinations of grey with green, white with blue and matte grey with orange. The one you see in images here, is a special livery, made only for display.

Made up of carbon fiber body shell with a lightweight space frame chassis, the DC Avanti stands 4,550mm in length, 1,965mm in width, and 1,200mm in height while ground clearance is at 150mm. It is powered by a Renault-sourced 2.0 liter turbocharged Euro 5 compliant petrol engine offering 248 bhp power at 5,000 rpm and 340 Nm torque at 2,750-5,000 rpm mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kmph is achieved in 6 seconds while top speed stands at 200 kmph.
