DC Avanti owner tows garbage with his sports car to promote Swachch Bharat

DC Avanti is country’s first indigenously developed sports car. It was launched in 2015.

DC Avanti is India’s first ever sports car. Priced at about Rs 40 lakhs, it has had very few buyers in India. Now, out of this exclusive list of buyers, one buyer, who is a Doctor by profession, and is based in Bhopal, has featured in national news daily. The reason?

Well, it is because of his car – a yellow coloured DC Avanti, which is also the first of its kind in the city of Bhopal. Abhinit, the doctor who is the owner of this car, wanted to campaign for PM Narandra Modi’s Swachch Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign). So in order to do this, the doctor has found an innovative way, which has brought him attention from all major news channels across the country.

Yes, Dr Abhinit Gupta has decided to clean the garbage of his city by towing a garbage van by his Avanti. Watch the video below.

Not only this, Abhinit has now called out other celebrities and his friends to do the same with their car, and clean garbage from their respective city.

If Abhinit’s intention was to get maximum awareness by this deed of his, I guess he has been pretty successful. He has now got the attention of automotive enthusiasts for sure.

DC Avanti abounds in comfort and safety features and is being presented with a host of customization options. Interiors boast of single DIN music system, power steering and electrically adjustable ORVMs while interior colors are available in grey, red, tan and black.

Safety features include ABS, EBD, disc brakes, 3 point seatbelts with pre-tensioners and bi-halogen projector headlamps. Where optional features are concerned, buyers can choose between carbon fiber door pads, bi-xenon head lights, TFT display unit, Alcantara seats, custom camera and smart key with push button start/stop.
