Delhi Auto Expo to see flood of two wheelers, motorcycles, cars, superbikes and supercars
Eleventh Delhi Auto Expo 2012 to be held at Pragati Maidan from January 7 to 11, 2012 will see a number of new launches. Auto companies will be fighting cheek by jowl to ensure that their products are on display and attract the maximum amount of attention from visitors.
This being largest auto show in Asia, there will be many two wheeler companies eager to introduce their products and concept vehicles, considering its high demand in a country like India. In India, two wheelers and motorbikes are more sought after considering the higher percentage of rural population as well as a growing number of working ladies who prefer two wheelers due to its highly practical approach coupled with fuel economy.
New Delhi Auto Show will see over 1,500 companies from 24 countries displaying their cars, commercial vehicles and private and public carriers. 50 new launches are expected and a number of these will be new two wheelers while a few will be offered with green technologies.
Top two wheeler companies such as Bajaj, Hero, Yamaha and Harley Davidson will be showcasing a number of new two wheelers and motorcycles while Yamaha and Ducati will be unveiling superbikes at the show.
Yamaha will be bringing out their MotorGP R1 and Ducati is all ready to showcase their 848 Streetfighter to biking enthusiasts who are bound to throng these stalls. Triumph Motorcycles will be participating for the first time and will be showcasing their bikes such as Bonnville and Rocket III besides Speed Triple, Street Triple and Daytona 675.
One should not fail to see the Royal Enfield arena where classic bikes such as Bullet 350, Royal Enfield Classic 500 and a number of other such classics will be on display. Auto Expo 2012 will be held at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Being a biennial affair, this show will be the 11th such edition in India where it has been present for the past 25 years.
