DICV signs MoU with HPGB for BharatBenz trucks financing
Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank will be a BharatBenz financing partner long with others. As part of the MoU, Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank will evaluate customer financial needs, and develop fitting financing packages. Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank, sponsored by Punjab National Bank is the combined entity of two RRBs, i.e., Himachal Gramin Bank, Mandi (sponsored by Punjab National Bank) and Parvatiya Gramin Bank, Chamba (sponsored by State Bank of India) vide Government of India Notification dated 15th February 2013 under section 21 of the RRBs Act, 1976 with its Head Office at Mandi.
Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank operations spread over 12 Himachal Pradesh districts. Satish Kumar Chawla, Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank and Arghadip Roy, Assistant General Manager & National Head – Retail and Channel Finance and T.D Jayakar, Senior Manager – Retail & Channel Finance from Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV) signed the agreement.
Erich Nesselhauf, CEO and Managing Director, DICV, says Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank as a preferred financier allows DICV to strengthen its presence in Himachal Pradesh, a significant commercial vehicle market. Customers will benefit from finance options provided, and be assured of competitive financing solutions for BharatBenz trucks.
Satish Kumar Chawla, Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank says the bank has a distribution network in semi-urban and rural areas. Truck customers will be keen on BharatBenz, backed by wide scale financier relations. The association leverages DICV and the bank’s strengths, for a collaborative association. In January, DICV signed a MoU with Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) for BharatBenz trucksCV financing.
