2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport interiors teased

With unveiling of 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport just two weeks away on September 2 2014, its interiors have been teased in a short video. Set in a comfortable and flexible 5+2 seating layout, the new Discovery Sport will replace LR2 in company’s US lineup and will be sold along with the LR4.

2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport interiors teased2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport makes it global unveiling on September 2, 2014 when it comes in as a premium compact SUV boasting of enhanced cabin quality, craftsmanship and augmented load and seating space for upto 7 adults. With versatility being the fundamental element of the Discovery family, 2015 Discovery Sport SUV will follow this same design and styling set by Range Rover Sport and Evoque while it will also be inspired by the Discovery Vision concept unveiled at New York Motor Show in April 2014.

Coming in with a versatile design means that third row seats can be folded to increase rear luggage space and can even be removed altogether. Other internal features evident in the short film released show off a panoramic sun roof, multifunction steering wheel, keyless engine start and central infotainment screen.

Under the bonnet of 2015 Land Rover Discovery Sport, one can expect to see Jaguar Land Rover’s new range of Ingenium four cylinder diesel and petrol engines. These Ingenium engines are reportedly lighter, highly fuel efficient and equipped with state of the art turbochargers. The new Discovery Sport will be rolled out from Jaguar Land Rover Halewood Plant in Merseyside for which 250 new jobs have been created to oversee production of this upcoming model. Pricing has yet to be announced while Discovery Sport will come in to compete with Audi Q5, BMW X3 and Mercedes-Benz ML Class.
