Ducati Monster 1200 S is millionth Ducati motorcycle manufactured

47 year-old Ernesto Passoni’s brand loyalty was rewarded with a special customisation and a presentation ceremony in the presence of Audi and Ducati top management. Ernesto’s Monster 1200 S is customised with a laser serigraph on the top handlebar bracket. Prof. Rupert Stadler (Audi Group CEO) and Luca de Meo (Member of the Board for Marketing and Sales, Audi AG) were also present.

Between 1946 and present day, Ducati has designed, built and delivered one million dreams. The first Ducati Monster was shows at Cologne trade show in 1992. Ducati Monster 1200 runs on an 1198 Testastretta 11° DS engine derived from the Superbike.

Available with a seat height adjustment system, it’s equipped with 8 levels of traction control, 3 levels of ABS and 3 levels of Ride-by-Wire, linked to Ducati Riding Modes, which can be switched by indicator. Monster 1200 S returns 145 hp and 12.7 kgm of torque. Acceleration, a benchmark chassis and a dry weight of just 182 kg defines the bike.
