Ducati launched the 848 superbike back in 2008 when it replaced the outgoing 749 superbike. The top end variant of Ducati 848 generated 134 bhp and 96 Nm torque. In 2011, Ducati gave 848 the EVO treatment and we had a superbike that generated maximum power of 140 bhp and 98 Nm torque.

At just 370 lbs, Ducati 848 EVO is one of the lightest and fastest Ducati superbikes. The 2012 848 EVO will be launched in a choice of three colors – Black Stealth, Ducati Red and Arctic White Silk. In the 2012 variant of 848 EVo superbike, you will notice all new aerodynamic design, 320 mm Brembo Monobloc brakes, front and rear Showa suspensions.

Ducati stated, “The highly advanced 848 engine was the first Ducati Superbike to introduce vacuum die-cast crankcases, formed using Vacural technology, a process that achieves a significant weight saving and ensures consistent wall thickness and increased strength.”

Ducati 848 EVO 2012 superbike price starts from $13,995.
