With only 666 units in production, Ducati Diavel Diesel is one coveted Diavel. The limited edition draws inspiration from a post-apocalyptic future, Diesel is the outcome of a collaboration between Andrea Rosso, Creative Director of Diesel Licensing, and Ducati Design Centre, Italy. With the introduction of Diavel Diesel, the Diavel family is reintroduced in India.
Ducati India Managing Director, Sergi Canovas Garriga says “The Diavel family has been one of the bestsellers in our portfolio. The Ducati Diavel Diesel is a very special motorcycle that exemplifies craftsmanship and style in every detail.” He added, “Our dealers have seen a lot of interest in this limited edition motorcycle and deliveries have started in India.”
It’s every bit your Ducati Diavel, powered by the same engine, but has a customised appeal owing to custom components and design change. The limited edition Diesel was first introduced in India at its launch back in march 2017. Then in June, the bike was pulled off the sales catalogue owing compliance issues with BS-IV emission norms.
Ducati Diavel Diesel brings together hand-brushed stainless steel superstructure with visible welding and rivets, a dash of red on air intake covers, Brembo front brake calipers, five chain links and LCD dashboard. The exhaust system is a handiwork of black Zircotec ceramic coating pipes, and black silencers with machined ends, and showcases the new pyramid motif.
Diavel Diesel houses a 152 HP Testastretta 11° DS engine. Ducati Safety Pack (ABS and Ducati Traction Control) and Riding Modes ensure a riding range that’s safe and intuitive. The 240 mm wide rear tyre and chassis set-up ensures precision handling and riding comfort.
Ducati Diavel Diesel is available at a price of Rs 21,72,000 (Ex-showroom India) and is available at all dealerships in India. This festive season, Ducati has put together offers on select motorcycles (finance schemes, exchange offers and apparel and accessory benefits) of up to INR 1,00,000 for a limited period.
